It was the year 1881, when a craftsman named Rocco Marone began a small production of handmade hats in a village in southern Italy, thus the company of the MARONE family was born. It is the beginning of a story that has lasted for over 135 years. After the transfer of ownership to his son, Raffaele Marone and a period of eighty years spent between Laurenzana (PZ) and Bitetto (BA), the company was moved to Foggia, the collection was expanded, so in 1960 the first store was born right in the daunian capital. After years of continuous research and development, our company has managed to significantly increase both its production capacity and the number of different models produced, from the arrival in Foggia in a small room of about 90 square meters today the RAMAR (RAFFAELE MARONE) is spread over an area of about 1200 square meters.
Behind each hat is woven like a canvas a work made by the hands of craftsmen who put their passion to create original models.
Twenty-four people who create about 50,000 pieces each year with passion and love, using cutting-edge production techniques, also thanks to the use of cutting-edge cutting machines.
